Accessibility statement

General

This website is operated by Kmo Shetzarich - Building Permits (“the Company”) at heterim.com. The Company invests in making the site accessible and in improving it continuously, on the principle that every person has an equal right to information and service.

Accessibility work follows the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and the recommendations of Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the W3C WCAG 2.1 guidelines at level AA.

What has been implemented

• An accessibility component is installed on the site, offering text enlargement, high contrast, a readable font, link highlighting, animation pausing and further adjustments.
• The site is fully operable by keyboard alone, including moving between components and closing menus with the Esc key.
• Every interactive element has a clear, visible focus indicator.
• Heading structure is hierarchical and valid, and each page carries exactly one main heading.
• Non-decorative images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are marked as such and are not announced.
• Text colour contrast meets a ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background.
• The site respects the operating system’s reduced-motion setting and disables animations accordingly.
• The site is designed for a wide range of screen sizes, including mobile phones and touch screens.
• Site content remains accessible when JavaScript is disabled in the browser.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, parts of the site or certain content may not yet be fully accessible, in some cases because the content originates from a third party. We continue to fix and improve on an ongoing basis. If you encounter a difficulty we would genuinely like to hear about it - that is the fastest route to a fix.
